San Antonio Spurs Announce Official Partnership With Meter as New Network Infrastructure Provider

SAN ANTONIO (March 5, 2026) — The San Antonio Spurs today announced a multi-year partnership with Meter, a full-stack and network infrastructure provider founded and based in San Francisco. Meter will design, deploy and support the wired and wireless infrastructure powering Spurs Sports & Entertainment (SS&E) venues. This marks Meter's first agreement with an NBA team.

The partnership reflects SS&E's belief in strong foundations and steady progress, investing in infrastructure that delivers performance at every level, and supports evolving fan expectations and operational excellence. Meter delivers enterprise-grade connectivity built to perform in high-density environments, such as NBA games, concerts and other large-scale events.

"High-density venues require resilient internet infrastructure designed for scale," said Adam Ulfers, Vice President of Sales and Channel at Meter. "We design, deploy, and support the full network stack so SS&E can focus on delivering exceptional experiences to fans. We're proud to support their world-class operations with infrastructure built for performance and long-term reliability."

Meter to Deploy Across SS&E Properties

Beginning this summer, Spurs Sports & Entertainment (SS&E) will transition its venues to Meter's fully integrated networking platform, with fans experiencing the upgraded service starting with the 2026–27 season. Meter's infrastructure will be deployed across SS&E venues, including Frost Bank Center, Victory Capital Performance Center, Frost Plaza, Toyota Field, Spurs Impact Center and the Austin Spurs offices. The deployment will feature Meter's latest hardware and software platforms engineered to maintain performance under peak demand. Meter will bring faster speeds, lower latency and reliable connectivity during games and large-scale events.

For fans, this means more reliable connectivity to share moments in real time and access mobile venue services without interruption. For SS&E staff and operations, it provides the technological framework to power event logistics, communications and data insights behind the scenes.

“Connectivity is a foundational element of the modern venue and the experience we deliver. This partnership with Meter proactively positions our venues for the future, enabling the type of fast, reliable connection fans expect while supporting operational excellence across games, shows and community events.”

“Just as importantly, Meter's strong values alignment with our organization made this partnership a natural fit.”

In addition to powering connectivity, the partnership deepens SS&E's commitment to community impact and purpose-built partnerships. Meter will be featured through on-court signage during the remainder of the 2025–26 season and will serve as the presenting partner of Champions for Change, SS&E's annual team-wide fundraising and community engagement initiative, beginning in the 2026–27 season.
